Yesterday, Sheryl and I had this totally
boliao but fun idea.
We were at this usually desolated car park when we noticed huge puddle of water with lots of disgusting green algae formed around a lousy clogged up drain.
I randomly suggested to Sheryl that we shall turn it into a little “
pond” by adding some fishes, and we both got excited. Therefore, we hurried to a nearby fish store and bought a packet of feeder goldfishes. You know, those packets of fish that you buy to feed your ugly
luohan.
We’re not crazy
lah, just very bored and wanted to create a little fun.
After releasing the baby goldfishes into the “pond”, we were so eager to add even more fishes because it was super cute seeing the clumsy little goldfishes swimming around!

Three little goldfish swimming in the sea! Ok lah, it’s not sea, but drain.
Coewe, Krinz and Deidrea joined us shortly.
Like I said, we were eager to see more fishes swimming around and so we bought an extra two packets of
colourful guppies, a packet of tadpole-looking
catfishes AND, a packet of
shrimps.
I know I know, we are very
boliao! But we really had so much fun.
And don’t worry, the water would not dry up quickly as it’s actually quite deep(for the fishes), and with that amount of algae, I assumed the flood was there for quite sometime now. The only dangers the fishes face were birds, or a passing car that might squash them.
In addition, I don’t think it’s cruel. We’re not killing the fishes right? In fact, we’re saving them from the hungry big mouths of
luohans and other big fishes
lo. Plus, they can also help by eating any breeding mosquito!
LOL, all those are starting to sound so ecological. Thus, we named it
“The Ecosystem/Sanctuary”. Hahaha… Ok, we are so lame.
Of course, pictures!

Colourful guppies!

This stupid goldfish keeps thinking that it’s a guppy and followed the guppies everywhere.

Trying to hide.

HAHAHA!
Also, a very action picture that Coewe took for us.

This afternoon, we went to visit our “
ecosystem”. Glad that the fishes survived the night and rain.
However, this smelly
Bangala that always sleeps at the car park told us to get rid of our fishes before he report it to the authorities. He was, at the same time, irritated by the noise we were making cause he was trying hard to take an afternoon nap.
He’s very gross
lo, I think he doesn’t bathe cause he stinks and he sleeps on the floor without his shoes, exposing his super
gross black socks!!!
YUCKS.
We didn’t want to get into any trouble, hence we decided to remove the fishes. I tell you, it was damn difficult to catch the fishes!!! The shrimps were almost impossible to see as they completely camouflaged themselves.
In the end, we managed to remove like, 80% of the fishes and shrimps, half of the amount probably died of trauma though.
It was getting quite late then so we decided to just leave all the fishes at Gloria house till tomorrow and we’ll decide again.
Anyway, my
birthday is only next Wednesday! Which also happens to be the week I’m taking the prelims. The prelims start tomorrow with the English paper! I hope I don’t screw it up.
Hmmm… I wonder how are the half-lifeless rainbow guppies now…
Talking about rainbow guppies, I saw a faint rainbow while I was on the way home today.
