MY SKIN IS PEELING!

See… this is one reason why I used to hate sun tanning. I should have applied more moisturising cream and shouldn’t scratch so much! Now my shoulders and back got patches of fresh fair skin revealing.

UGLY!!!

To make things grosser, Krinz say it looks as if contracted with STD or something. I don’t know how people who kenna STD look like, but I don’t think it’s like that lah. Not so exaggerating, it looks like a map though.

Therefore, I think it’s time for more tanning to even out the skin tones… it works that way, right?

Anyway, I just came back not too long ago from watching…

THE INVASION!

Lol, I put that on caps lock for some impact. Besides, the movie was super good so I think I should promote it a bit!

Imagine people getting infected with some alien disease that takes away all human emotions, becoming like a zombie that goes around infecting others by puking at their faces. Quite sickening and creepy right…?

However, you can fool the zombies by showing no emotions as well. Krinz said that if that really happen in real life, Xuanying will be the last survivor cause she’s almost emotionless. On the other hand, Coewe will probably be the first to get noticed by the zombies cause she freaks out at everything, particularly cockroaches. Hahaha! Very true indeed.

Also, the movie was rather disturbing cause Nicole Kidman keeps reminding me of how Avril Lavigne is going to look about 20 years later.

They have so many similarities! The sharp nose, deep blue eyes(though Avril eyes are some shade of grey), that blonde hair and those sexy lips. Yes, Avril’s lips are sexy and so is mine, you must agree! Lol!

I know, the photos are tiny and probably very old, but it’s so alike! I deliberately chose a picture of Avril wearing a similar hat for the comparison lah… but they really have the same features!

Just stating my opinion, most of you would most likely find them totally different. I’m not saying that they are identical or anything anyway, just similar(facial features).

On the same topic of Avril Lavigne, her 23rd birthday just past a couple of days ago(27th September).

As a huge fan(I know, everyone consider themselves as huge fans), I wanted to mail her a birthday card or something… but I couldn’t find an address that I could send to.

Feeling much disappointment, I drew this picture of her husband Deryck Whibley and her and posted it on the fan clubs, only hoping that she sees it.


But she probably didn’t.

One last thing regarding Avril(I was tempted to say “my wife” but I didn’t want to be too thick skin), I am so looking forward to next week cause the video for her new single “Hot” is going to premiere! Exciting man!!!

My N level exams are round the corner and I’m anticipating for it to end! But till then, I have to half-heartedly complete my N level art paper 2.

Despite the exam being on this approaching Wednesday and I’ve only completed 30% of it, I don’t feel the rush at all. And that is terrible! I cannot afford to not complete it leh!

Water Babies.

You must be wondering, “What the hell are those balls in the bottle?”

To be honest, I have no idea. But I know they’re called Water Babies.

I came home from school one day and found a bottle containing plenty of those tiny crystal clear orbs. Attached to the bottle was a small slip of paper with my younger sister’s name on it.

So out of curiosity, I went to my sister and asked her what those balls in the bottle are. And she told me, “water babies”.

Firstly, I never know that such a thing called Water Babies exist. Secondly, I thought water babies are the term given to babies that are given birth completely in the water, giving them an amazing ability to swim naturally since their birth? I don’t know if that is true though…

My sister then went into the room and returned with a packet of …


"Water Babies seeds”
According to her, you are supposed to grow the water baby seed in water. And from what her friend(probably a very dumb friend) claims, a dark dot would emerge in the middle of an “adult” water baby, and that black dot is actually the water baby’s baby.

…Ok. So this is what primary school kids these days are playing with lah?

I asked her if I could squash one of them because they look so squashy. She instantly warned me not to because “the water baby will die” if I squashed it.

Is she just making it sound like it’s a living thing or do she really think that the tiny lifeless crystal orbs are really living?

She also added on that her friend told her that the water babies could swim around sometimes, and she shouldn’t shake the bottle or they will die…

Ok so they really believe that these balls are actually living things.

Her friend is only like, 10 years old, so I shall excuse her for her dumbness and being gullible, and maybe quite imaginative as well.

Anyway, my sister gave me a dozen of the “seeds” so that I could grow them myself. Thus I grew them in a small bottle of water mixed with perfume so it double functions as an air freshener. Hehe.


My sister told me that the perfume will probably kill the water babies but she was wrong, my water babies grew bigger than hers in less then two hours. Mine is also sweetly scented with perfume, not like hers… smelly and dirty. Hehe.

The orbs do not swim like what my sister’s friend claims, but they are super squishy, cute, and remind me of the edible black pearls in bubble tea!

And that’s probably all you get to do with the water babies. I’m starting to suspect that they are not even called water babies… maybe that stupid friend of my sister made it all up. Do you realise that we used to make up all kinds of stupid stories for no particular reason during primary school era?…

Despite not believing my sister and her friend, I actually secretly hope they are baby jellyfishes that can swim. Imagine keeping a baby jellyfish in a small bottle, super cute lah!

Sunburns!!!

Went sun tanning at Sentosa yesterday.


I used to hate the idea of sun tanning cause I didn’t like my skin to be brown, plus having to suffer the painful sunburns… but I’m so into sun tanning now! I totally got influenced by Krinz and Gloria’s fondness for tanning.

All of us went swimming except Sheryl, thus she was the photographer of the day.








Swimming across the lagoon to the tiny manmade island on the other side was super scary!
I was so worried that a shark might shred me into pieces before devouring my delicious flesh still oozing with my blood… Lol! Ok ok, I was just being silly. I was afraid that I might encounter a jellyfish or accidentally stepping on an ugly stonefish.

Krinz attempted swimming over as well but was interrupted by the nasty lifeguard on duty. It’s not like he couldn’t swim or anything, he was just rather worried and nervous about swimming over. Ok fine, maybe he couldn’t really swim well… but he was floating his way backwards.

Much to everyone’s attention, that super tanned lifeguard shouted… “YOU COME BACK HERE, CAUSE HE CANNOT SWIM!”

SO PAISEH LOR! He acted so seriously by running into the water with his life-saving float, like as if Krinz was gonna drown any moment.

After the embarrassing incident, we decided not to swim again and played with sand instead.

Despite the song being an emotional ballad, the video is actually quite funny. But don’t laugh! (or at least try not to… Lol!) It’s supposed to be touching and sad ok! And, I think they did a pretty good job with the acting(plus the amazing video director... me!).

Since I’m in the topic of music videos, I need to say that I can’t wait for the new and upcoming videos from Britney Spears and Avril Lavigne(again)!!!

This is a typical post about random stuffs.

Just another couple of weeks till my N-level exams!

I’m so excited. I can’t wait to get over and done with the exams, or I should say get over and done with school.

Meanwhile, I have to submissively go to school everyday cause the principal issued a letter stating that whoever skips school without a valid reason would be suspended from school when they return next year to pursue Sec 5NA.

What if I don’t plan to come back next year leh?...

The most horrible part of the letter:



I almost choked while reading that.
"After the N level exams, our teachers will continue with the Sec 5NA curriculum. As such all sec 4NA students are expected to attend school regularly thereafter.” (They actually meant compulsory when they used “expected”.)

Tsk… WHO WANTS TO COME BACK AFTER THEIR N LEVELS MAN?!?!

What if I didn’t manage to score enough to qualify for Sec 5NA and I came back, then I waste my time studying for nothing ah? Last year’s batch of Sec 4NAs didn’t even have that “advantage”.

And for those who has already decided that Sec 5 is not their thing, cause maybe they prefer ITE(or whatever other reasons or college), they have to produce a parent letter to verify and you will not be able to return for Sec 5Na when school reopens.

Irritating. I think that whole idea is irritating and stupid…

What if(my goodness, this is the third “what if” I am using in this post) I am one of those who cannot decided between ITE or Sec 5NA?! The problem is, we’re not going to know our results till at least December! Then if I come back, I could possibly come back for nothing. If I don’t, I might be qualified for Sec 5 but too bad, I could not return.

Get what I mean?Ok ok, I know I am making things sound very complicating, I’m just quite annoyed by the whole returning to school thing lah.

Enough of school.

I know that both The Black Eyed Peas and David Copperfield is coming to Singapore soon right? I’m quite keen to see Black Eyed Peas solely because I am sure Fergie’s going do some solo performance! But of course, I am not planning to see them lah… just hoping only.

As for David Copperfield, I had seen him before in his previous magic show in Singapore back when I was, 9 or 10 I think.

He’s illusions are amazing at that time, but now there are better magicians like David Blaine and Criss Angel, David Copperfield is probably boring already lo. Besides, why is he suddenly back? It seemed like he went on a disappearing act for like, how many years?

With all these random concerts popping up in Singapore, I better start saving money just in case Avril Lavigne happens to come as well. Hehe.

On a totally different note, my friends and I did the well-known Coke + Mentos experiment. We were not really doing it as an experiment actually, just having fun.

Despite wasting bottles of coke and mentos for the experiment, the reaction was exciting! You can tell that we are super excited from all the crazy screams.

Gloria's Makeover!

Despite all the exciting plans of going cycling with my friends on Saturday, I ended up going shopping with Gloria for clothes again!

Much to my disappointment, Gloria was persistent to not wear a dress. Really got so difficult to put on a dress meh?…

However, at least we made Gloria put on some feminine clothes.

Unfortunately, all she bought was a black tube top from Topshop, similar to the one she is wearing in that picture I created.

We didn’t had enough time to get anything else cause it took quite some time for Gloria to make up her mind. I really don’t know what is she planning to wear together with that tube. Good luck to her.

That little kitten is so cute despite its bob-tail. I find it very strange and unnatural for cats to have short tail. Cats should have long, fluffy, nice tails.

Dear Ah Huay wasn’t too happy to see the cute little guy. He started meowing(in an angry manner) through gate so loudly that my neighbours came out to see what was happening.

Maybe Ah Huay is just jealous that the cat is cuter. Lol.

Ok, I have to wake up early for school tomorrow morning. Therefore, I’m going to bed now. Oh and, congratulations to Gloria’s brother Atwell who is getting married later! =)

Gloria Tay, wear a dress!

I’m still suffering from a motion sickness caused by the long bus ride back from Vivocity just now.

Haven’t been updating regularly again… because, school has reopened and thus my life is dull once again. My blog seems deader than ever now.

I wish I could update daily, but not everyday is interesting you know.

The whole week has been rather boring for me. I finally got to go out this afternoon and ended the monotony.

Gloria’s brother is getting married this Monday. Problem is, Gloria doesn’t know what to wear to for the wedding dinner and we are worrying for her(I mean, it’s her brother wedding leh! She cannot be dressing like her usual self right?).

Oh wait, actually she does know what she’s going to wear. In fact she already bought the clothes. She initially planned to put on a “very feminine” blouse and a black Levi’s tapered jeans, together with sneakers…

THAT IS SO WRONG!!!

She tried out her new clothes and for us to see and even her brother and soon-to-be sister-in-law agreed with us.

Firstly, the blouse isn’t quite feminine at all. She claimed that it was very feminine, but it is just the formal (but also auntie) office wear kind of shirt, purple with maroon stripes. We didn’t see anything feminine about it. Worst of all, it’s not cheap…

All of us, Coewe, Krinz, Sheryl and I, though that she should wear a dress for the event! I know I know, wearing a dress is not Gloria’s thing, in fact the last time she wore a dress or skirt was in primary school(school skirt does not count).

Therefore… we decided(or I should say, we tried) to give Gloria a makeover today!

We went to Vivocity just now hoping that we can find some nice dresses or at least some nice presentable clothes for Gloria.



While Gloria tries on the many nice clothes that Coewe picked for her, we were busy taking pictures in the changing rooms. Lol! With all the mirrors and all those perfect lighting, we couldn’t resist! Some of the changing rooms there are just so nice lah!

Oh man, after all the photos in the changing rooms, I really want a huge mirror in my room as well!

Back to Gloria. Alas, after all the trying of clothes, Gloria did not buy anything at all(excluding the packets of chips which we enjoyed later at Vivocity’s open-air area)! Sigh…

I am actually rather disappointed that she didn’t get any clothes, particularly dress. But at least we made her tried on some genuinely feminine blouses, tights, tubes, and a sexy black dress.

SHE LOOKS GREAT IN THE DRESS! We couldn’t stop emphasizing to her how nice she looked in it but she just wasn’t convinced. I know dresses are not her style, but, she will be putting on a wedding gown sooner or later.

Isn’t it exciting, despite the fact that I couldn’t cycle very well at all… still, it’s exciting! Well, at least it’s better than staying at home and watch TV.

We’re going to rent two bicycles! The type which two people get to ride a single bicycle. I don’t know what is called… Nevermind, not the point anyway. Just want to say I’m excited. Hehe.

Great, the motion sickness I was suffering when I begin this post is finally gone.

Anyway, motion sickness reminds me of a funny incident.

A classmate wasn’t feeling well in class, and the teacher asked what the problem was. He replied “I had motion sickness”. The teacher then gave him an odd expression and said, “erm, then you cannot pass motion ah?".

LOL! DUMB! I forget which dumb teacher that is, but it’s so funny when she relates motion sickness with shitting.

Must well she say people who suffer motion sickness are very slow motion. HAHA! If that’s the case, Xuanying must be suffering from it. LOL! (XY, I’m just kidding).

The Sweet Escape.

AH HUAY WENT MISSING FOR MORE THAN 18 HOURS YESTERDAY!!!



Our dear cat sneaked out of home early in the morning at around 6am yesterday when my dad was opening the door to go to work.

Usually Ah Huay(stop mocking at his, erm, weird name ok) would only explore the corridor a little before coming back home, but he decided to take the chance to escape yesterday. This is his second attempt to escape(or is it the third?) since my mother saved and brought him back home early this year.

Tsk tsk, such an ungrateful cat, if it wasn’t for my mum to save him, he is probably put to sleep by the nasty AVA long ago.

My elder brother, younger sister and I took turns to look around the area for our dear cat but to no avail. We thought that it probably ran to far-off and couldn’t find his way home, or maybe someone else brought it home.

At last, Ah Huay was found slightly after midnight, more than 18 hours later! My brother was trying to get some sleep when he heard the familiar jingles from Ah Huay’s collar.

He ran down to look around and finally found(hey, that actually rhymes) the scaredy cat hiding under a car. Thus, Ah Huay was brought home safe and sound, despite the possibility that he could easily catch some unseen diseases during the 18 hours of roaming around.

So the question now is… where did Ah Huay went and did during the 18 long hours…?

Maybe… he found a girlfriend.


Or maybe… he went for a short vacation.


Whatever it is, it’s good that he’s back.

Besides searching for Ah Huay yesterday, I met up with Nicole and Audrey for, er-hem, exercising.

What what, who says we cannot exercise…?

We didn’t really exercise much anyway, we just played badminton(and well, badminton is a form of exercise). I didn’t know I suck at badminton.

Ah Huay seems quite depressed right now as he sits by the window ledge(like in the first picture of the post).

Just yesterday(the same day he escaped), his friend, Huay Huay died. Ok, you must wondering who the heck is Huay Huay…

Huay Huay is Ah Huay’s friend. They used to live together around my mum’s store untill the AVA came and my mum brought Ah Huay home.

Whereas Huay Huay was saved by an old auntie. That auntie was also the one who gave all the cats those ugly old-fashion names.

Anyway, Huay Huay was admitted into an Animal Hospital a few days ago due to some skin problems and eventually died yesterday. My dad said that maybe the two cats had a special telepathy and therefore caused our cat to be so depressed.

Ok nevermind, I know it’s quite complicating with all the similar names.

Enough of cats, I’ll stop here.

ONE MORE DAY TILL SCHOOL REOPENS!

Sigh, that’s sad.

Why must the good times always leave so quickly... No, wait, I should sing, why do all good things come to an end…? Come to an end… Come to an end… Why do all good… LOL! Sorry, I couldn’t contain myself.

I had a fun time today. And I’m glad that its fun or I might have just wasted this short holiday like that.

Krinz, Gloria, Coewe, Sheryl and I met up for lunch this afternoon. We wanted to have buffet at Sakura initially but we ended up at Billy Bomber’s instead, which I am happy with cause I really like Billy Bomber’s food despite hearing some bad remarks about it.

For those that are wondering how I know their gender, well… Actually I don’t know. But I’m just assuming that the fairer one is the female cause it’s prettier. Hehe. And yuck, I can’t believe I just said that a cockroach is pretty.

Sometimes I wonder why the hell do those grotesque pests exists for. They should be eradicated. That’s probably one of Coewe’s many dreams I guess(alongside with dreaming that Louis Koo, Wuzun, some Thai guy, and many more being her husband).

I bet you didn’t realise. It is only slightly animated and it takes a long time to load. But after it loads completely for a first time, the animation becomes smooth.

N-levels & 1408.

N-levels are approaching!In fact, have already completed a couple of papers yesterday and today.

To me, the N-level papers are pretty much like any other normal examinations, just that it takes place in the hall. Without an apparent reason, I will take up around ten minutes during the exam to get comfortable before I could really concentrate. Well… maybe I’m just nervous lah…

Now I finally get to enjoy the one week September holiday(though it’s barely three days left) before school reopens for another three long and dreary week. Why can’t they just set the N-level exams to finish by this week? So much better that way.


I know… So random to place this picture at this point of this post(so many 'this' in that sentence man...).

Anyhow, I went to watch 1408 with Sheryl and Krinz just now.

I won’t say its fantastic but it’s good. And nerve-jangling too. I didn’t quite like the storyline though, it was so confusing and complex. I assume most of Stephen King’s stories are so cheem… right?

I never want to stay in a hotel room anymore!!! Lol, just kidding. But I’ll never want to stay in a hotel room number 1408(it’s not like I’ve done that before… but I just don’t want to). It’s so freaky!

Realise why movie titles are so numeric recently? Such as, 1408, 881, 1303… and I’m pretty sure there’s one or two more but I just cannot recall. Nevermind, it’s not important anyway.

Hairspray & Whatever!

Just came back from watching Hairspray.

It was good! Once again, like 881, it’s very High School Musical. A lot of singing and dancing as expected. Well, it’s all musicals mah…

Anyway! There are so many good movies coming up! Such as, Enchanted, The Invasion, I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry and a lot more! That Enchanted looked so nice lah! When I saw the trailer just now I kept telling Krinz that I must watch it!

Mentioning about 881, ever since watching that movie, Coewe cannot control herself whenever she sees a Ge-Tai. She keeps telling me that she can, and feels like being a Ge-Tai singer.

I think the director of 881, that Royston Tan or something, should cast Coewe, together with Sheryl and Gloria into the movie.

The Teacher’s Day celebration in school yesterday was great. Probably one of the best events in school each year, comparing it with the boring Youth Day or CNY…

Some students of my class were really kind by buying Ms. Ng this customized Teacher’s Day cake. Actually in this case, I’m also very kind lo cause I paid $2 for the class funds, which was used to buy the cake.

I only managed to get a picture of it after it was cut. And yes that’s Ms. Ng on the cake.
Everyone was so happy during the Big Breakfast until the school’s Operating Manager, Mr. Tan, came along and spoiled the our mood.

He had an intense argument with a female student from my class cause she called him kpo. HAHA! So funny right… And for that, he became so angry and started saying something about him not wanting to die in the school cause he has a weak heart. So dramatic lo!

He was super angry I tell you, his face was so red, and it looks as if he was going to get a sudden heart attack and die. I’m not being mean, it’s true! He was really that furious. I felt quite sad for him actually, but at the same time he was so funny.

The funniest part was when Mr. Tan, being a typical Chinese speaking old man(he’s 60 already leh), he wanted to called the student vicious, which is like “你很毒”(ni hen du) in Chinese. And that, in direct translation is “you are so poisonous”.

And that Mr. Tan started screaming at her “You are a poison snake! You are a poison snake! You are so cruel!” LOL! CRAZY RIGHT?! Haha! I feel quite bad laughing at him… but heck.

Ok enough of that. Let’s get back to the celebration.

Like I said, the celebration was great. The performances were great too. Here are some pictures taken yesterday.

Talking about Mrs. Suganda, she was so happy with our performance last Tuesday that she cried, and got each of us an ugly picture of us on stage. I look super ugly, weird, stupid and gross in the photo lo!


She’s quite nice right. Ms. Ng ever give us anything at all lo.

I like it so much I decided to use it as my official blog song! Lol, the “official” is just added to make it sound nicer only. Hehe.
