Ladies & Gentlemen

It’s finally here! I’ve been talking about it for ages and ages and ages. Slightly more than 5 months ago to be exact.

Yes! It’s our amazingly hot(some sarcasm here) Gimme More video that we completed filming back last year(2007 lah)!

I know I haven’t update for more than 1 week, so hopefully the video is enough to replace the hate and vengeance you have towards me.

School!

I know I have not been updating regularly again! And yes, I admit that in fact, I’m actually neglecting my blog.

Well… but I’m here to update now(just a short entry though).

Blame school for making me not updating, because I’m so occupied with my new school that I don’t have time and topics to rant about!

Anyhow, I still want to say that I’m enjoying school pretty much now. Definitely enjoying it more than my previous school! That’s for sure!

Wait, before I carry on… Just wanna say that I’m currently studying at Macpherson ITE, in the Digital Animation course. Ya ya, I transferred over from the Hair Fashion and Design course at Simei.

I know you must be thinking why on earth did I do that because the Simei campus is like heaven compared to Macpherson one right? Plus, Macpherson is so far, considering that I’m living at Tampines.

Well, the Simei campus may be exceedingly better. However, I thought that I should just do something that I am really interested in mah…

Besides, the Hair Fashion course has the boringiest(I know I know, that word don’t exist) classmates, and the suckiest(this doesn’t exist either) teacher ever.

Whereas in my classmates in Macpherson are far more energetic people that are simply more rousing to be with.

I actually look forward to go to school despite having to suffer an hour long bus ride ya know(which also means I have to wake up an hour earlier)…

Today is Vince’s(our form teacher) birthday and yesterday was our class little celebration for him. It’s like the second birthday celebration our class is having since school started…

Anyway, I find it kinda strange to address our form teacher by his actual name, unlike how we have to address teachers as Mr, Mrs, Ms, Madam or whatever during Secondary school days.

MY EXTERNAL DRIVE IS FINALLY REPAIRED(and thankfully with all the files intact)!

Which also means that I can finally complete editing our Gimme More video(which I have been mentioning for like, since a million year ago)! I will try my best to complete it as soon as possible lah.

Avril Dolls

Nope, my external drive is still not repaired yet despite it being spoiled for more than 10 days already.

My father say he wanna take it go repair for quite long already leh but till now it still lays untouched on the grey CPU that matches the external drive colour completely.

Bummer. I thought I can quickly complete our highly anticipated(well, at least highly anticipated by Gloria and the rest) Gimme More video and premiere it here!

Nevermind! That shouldn’t be an excuse for me to stop blogging till the video is ready. I shall just blog as per normal and when the video is finally done, I’ll just premiere it lo…

Besides, I have other exciting things to rant about!

My younger sister came up to me that day to show-off an ugly blonde Barbie Doll that she got from her McDonald’s Happy Meal.

The first thing I thought when I saw the tiny palm size doll was, “ugh, that’s an ugly doll with really messy hair lo!”

Then, a random idea entered my mind.

As my sister was about to leave the room to display her new toy on one of her toys(and dust) filled stands, I snatched the doll from her hands and told her that I wanted it.

As expected, she took it from my hands, gave me a firm no and turned away.

”How about… I give you $1 leh?”

Mwahahaha, money works like magic. She turned back immediately and placed the doll on the computer table in front of me. Ha!

Remember that Avril Lavigne doll that I mentioned in this post(which is my B'day post) sometime ago? It was exactly what made me bought the stupid doll for a dollar.

Yes! I wanted to turn the doll into Avril! The blonde Avril with a guitar from the Girlfriend video in particular.

After hours of putting on thick eye liner for Kennedy(well that is the doll’s actual name), and plenty of super glue to keep her messy hair in place…

I’m so proud of my doll that I’m displaying in high up on my shelve lo. Cute hor?!

On the very same night, we ordered McDonald’s again and this time, Yingying’s Happy Meal came along with another doll named Chelsea(Yeah, like Chelsea the football club).

It’s brunette this time, with a cap and skates.

Instantly, I got yet another inspiration of turning into Avril. The young, brunette, tomboy Avril from Sk8ter Boy!

First day of lessons at Macpherson ITE tomorrow! I hope its fun! And YES, I’m finally making friends! Mwahahaha…

I KNOW!!!

I know I am supposed to debut the world premiere of our Gimme More in the present entry as promised in the previous post…

However, as stupid, phony or sudden as it sounds, the 80GB external drive in which I kept EVERYTHING(from the video files to every single picture in this blog) in is malfunctioning…

Untimely, isn’t it?

BUT I SWEAR IT’S 100% TRUE!

The video is already like already half done editing and now I can’t complete it because the files are all trapped in that tiny grey metal box that miraculously doesn’t connects to the computer anymore…

Second time experiencing such problems already leh…

I also very irate and annoyed by it lo, you think I don’t wanna faster complete it meh... Gloria, Krinz and the rest are like bugging for the video already lo!

So well, I didn’t mean to break my promise and neither do I want anyone to wait for it to appear here for too long you know.

I swear I’ll upload it as soon as the fucking external drive is repaired(maybe, a couple of days or even longer)!!!

Ok, now that I have admitted the horribly coincidental problem with the external drive causing me to not upload the video yet, I can carry on blogging.

Stop thinking that I’m lying hor… it’s true, believe it or not!

School has started!

Monday was like my very first day of school at College East and it was a totally memorable experience! It was like, the boringiest day of my life lah(or at least, in 2008)! I know boringiest doesn’t exist but I can’t find a better suiting word.

After being separated with my already good friends, I was thrown into my new class as a total stranger to every single person.

The day started that way, and ended the same. I didn’t make any friends!

I’m not unfriendly lo, I just didn’t dare speak to anyone because I was simply nervous plus severely tired due to the tiny 3 hours of sleep beforehand.

Whereas my friends(in the other classes and courses) made tons of friends! I feel like an antisocial loser lo…

Throughout the orientation, I wanted to sleep so badly because of my escalating sleepiness and worst, I had no one to talk with to keep me awake.

Deidrea, I pray that your appeal to my course would be approved!

Talking about Deidrea, I went out with her yesterday after collecting my medical report. It was some compulsory medical check-up that I did last week intended for my ITE course.

The check-up consisted of a freaking BLOOD TEST!

The last time(also the first time) I did a blood test I fainted because of anxiety! Seriously! Injections are so nerve-wrecking!!!

I did not faint this time though, much braver now. Hahaha!

OK. Back to Deidrea.

As I was saying, she accompanied me to collect my report slip before heading to town for her job interview…

I remember I used to love it A LOT when I was back in primary school. It’s so chewy and nice and sugary! And then it just seems to vanish all of a sudden, but its back!

Green is my like my favourite. Red and purple also. Actually all favours is like good except orange lah… The orange one sucks but I wouldn’t mind eating it still.

There’s another childhood candy that I miss. I can’t remember it’s name, but it’s tiny and in a pyramid shape. And they come in many colours and have a sweet mint taste! Also never see it nowadays already lo.

Ok lah, I’ll end here. I'm totally exhausted due to my short sleeping hours last night...

I promise wholeheartedly that I will post Gimme More as soon as the external drive is repaired! Provided that nothing goes wrong and all the files in it are still intact lah…

2008

Can you believe that we’re like, in 2008 already?! Which also suggests that I’ll be turning 18 this year!

IS THAT LIKE SO FAST OR WHAT?!

It is unexpectedly fast! And it’s weird to even think about myself turning 18 so quickly! In a couple of years time I’ll be like, seeing Gloria driving a Ferrari and Sheryl riding a motorbike, and Deidrea will probably be getting married by then lo…

HAHA! So strange lah!

And Kailing will be like, going to like secondary school and hopefully not mixing with the wrong company… And I wonder what will I be doing?

Anyway, I spend my first minutes of 2008 watching the stunning fireworks at the Esplanade with countless other strangers!

Every year countdown also like that one lo, besides counting down and watch fireworks there never seems to be any other forms of receiving a new year…

The area was SUPER packed that I literally had difficulties breathing at times.

First of all, there’s a constant competition of air among the thousands and thousands of people squeezing and pushing around hoping to get “the perfect view”, and in the next second, a bunch of stinking banglahs comes right beside you.

THEY ARE SO SMELLY THAT I CAN’T TAKE IT LEH!

As if being smelly isn’t bad enough, they keep pushing, wedging in between and TOUCHING and nudging you with their sweaty bodies like as if you’re one of their good friend lo!

And they have zero patience! They keep pushing and pushing like as if they will die if they cannot get right in front of the gigantic crowd to see the fireworks!

At one point of time, all of us were ambushed by so many of them under a delicate tree that I totally freaked out cause it was actually difficult to breathe(additionally, there was constant rough pushing from all directions)!

I had to tiptoe and lift my head high to get fresher air you know! Monstrous…

We got so fed up with all the squeezing we decided to move off to somewhere else with less people to catch the fireworks.

It sure looks like those small green shrubs with cute little red cherries that you see in children illustration books. Right?! I couldn’t get a picture of one of those though…

I was regularly on the look out for fireworks that explodes with the numbers 2008 on them but there wasn’t any… This, however, seems to show something. I see “TPS”(I know it doesn’t make any sense lah), do you?

No lah, just some uncle that happened to abruptly rush in to take a picture with us. Lol! Kidding, he was just passing by… But he’s quite eerie looking hor? (of course the blue hue was done by Photoshop lah!)


Second attempt.
Some idiot decided to walk pass and spray me with the aerosol foam spray. Dude, Christmas is over! I hate it when I get attack by those foam or ribbon sprays!

It just makes me frothy and it feels disgusting. After that we decided not to have a third attempt before someone tries something else funny.

Straight after the countdown, we kept making silly ‘last-year’ jokes about the new year such as:


”I haven’t bathe for a long time, the last time I bathe was last year leh.”
”I need to go toilet! The last time I went was last year!”
”Since last year, I haven eaten till now!”
”The last time I stepped into my room was last year!”
”The last time I fed my cat was last year, I think they’re dying!”
”I never see my mother since last year.”
”It’s been last year since I update my blog!”


Hahaha, ok enough of those lame jokes that are beginning to be boring.

Anyhow! School is reopening VERY soon! However, I don’t even know what course am I in leh…

I initially took Hair Fashion and Design as my first choice as I thought it was gonna be fun ya know… but after the interview that day(results are out tomorrow!), I suddenly felt daunted by the course!

Maybe it’s the interviewer’s fault cause they look monstrous. Ha, kidding…

I just felt like I didn’t belong to Hair Fashion and Design(despite having such nice hair, hehe… just being sarcastic here).

Talking about hair, I’m planning to dye my hair jet black soon because I’m getting sick of the current brownish blonde colour. Should I? What do you think?

Now, back to school.

I want to buy a new school bag. I’m thinking of a black one… Hehe.

Ok… As I was saying, I felt like I shouldn’t have placed that as my first choice and hence appealed for Digital Animation(which was actually my fifth and last choice).

Isn’t that cool? I get to learn how to make animations like Finding Nemo leh(maybe not that brilliant but I’m convinced that I can do at least something ok… Ha!)! LOL!

The negative part about the latter course is that, it is only offered at Macpherson ITE. Whereas Hair Fashion and Design is offered at the nice, new, cool and most importantly, near, Simei ITE. Bummer.

Macpherson is like so damn far from here leh. This also indicates that if I really end up in that college, I’ll have to wake up extra early each day for the travelling time! I hate it lo…

Besides, I’m like so totally stranger to the area there! Not mentioning that I heard that it’s pretty shabby.

HOW?!

Is it really that bad? Is anyone else planning to enter Macpherson ITE?! Sigh.

I hope I just enjoy whatever course I take eventually. Ok lah, with that note I shall end my entry.

OH! One last important thing!
