Just woke up roughly 2 hours ago and I’m really tired…
Despite my long sleeping hours I am feeling lethargic and sleepy ever since the class BBQ!
It seemed to drain out all of my vitality… I feel like an old grandma leh. In fact I might be weaker than some ah ma lor, such as those fit ones that do their daily tai-ji or jogs…
To think of it, those old people that still jog daily are so inspiring right?! I suddenly feel like jogging everyday! So healthy lor!
Er-hem, before I go off the point further I better stop.
I’ve decided to just post a short entry since its raining and I’ve got nothing much better to do.
Yesterday, I met up with Gloria and Krinz and went to Marina Square with plans of watching The House Bunny. If you haven’t seen the trailer, it looks like a super hilarious and nice movie and I think it is!
Sadly, the timeslots for the movie was all at like, 4 or 5pm, which is a bad bad timing to watch movie.
Because usually that timing you will start to hunger for dinner, causing it very difficult to focus on the movie thus making it very unenjoyable.
In any case by the time we got there its already like 7.30pm lah so even if we wanna watch also cannot.
HOWEVER! We were just in time for the F1 race!!!
From City Link we can already hear the car whizzing above us! It was THAT loud! And I got very very excited for some unknown reasons, I felt almost like I got star-struck…

I want to be at the grandstand! Oh and! I heard rumours that Naomi Campbell, David Beckam and my favourite Paris Hilton is all in town to watch the race!!!

And Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat Dolls too! But she’s Lewis Hamilton’s girlfriend so it’s quite expected for her to come lah…
Anyway, after awhile the cars just seem to disappear so we decided to go have our dinner.

During the entire dinner I was so excited about the F1 and keep complaining to Gloria and Krinz that I have to go see the cars again but they totally don’t seem to care!!!
So all I got was to hear the cars dashing by… Oh well better than nothing.

I tell you, the F1 cars are like the loudest thing I’ve ever heard. And also the fastest land vehicle I’ve ever seen.

Just zoooooom and it’s gone. And it’s pretty scary to imagine if an accident were to happen! The sound itself was scary already lor… keep having like exploding sounds.
And obviously, my camera didn’t catch any of the cars in action… I tried to take some videos with my phone, Gloria’s phone, as well as my digital camera but didn’t get to see much in them lah.

It has been awhile since I have last updated because I was too busy enjoying my still fresh holidays! I have to do my best to enjoy it lor, or else before I know it will be gone and I would be back in school…
Anyhow, on Tuesday my class had our second ever BBQ!

Sadly, due to a cut-down of money contribution from classmates, we had lesser food this time round. Also, the only lecturer who turned up was Uncle Ee… The other lecturers couldn’t make it.
On a happier note, Simon says the chicken wings that I marinated, with the help of Alice and instructions from my sister, tasted great this time!

The week before the BBQ, I was chatting with Simon on MSN when we came into the topic of the class BBQ.
I told him that my favourite food item from the previous BBQ was the sotong and he agreed. I then randomly went on asking about the chicken wings…
Not knowing that I marinated it, he immediately erupted on how disgusting the chicken wings were!!!
Sigh, it made me very sad lor… ):
Never mind, despite his frank criticism towards my chicken wings, I shall still be kind and praise the very appetizing Caesar salad that he made.

HOWEVER, those are just very lighthearted thoughts that I am not taking too seriously simply because I am too lazy…
Besides, what can I work as man?!
Talking about jobs, I cannot imagine myself working(as in currently) leh. So strange!
The last job I did was to answer phone calls and taking orders for McDelivery and it lasted me for only two pathetic months before I got really lazy and decided to just not turn up anymore.
I know I know, super irresponsible.
I want a job that doesn’t require me to do anything at all… Muahahahahaha…
But yeah we all know that it probably could never happen in reality. Oh well…

I saw a shooting star yesterday morning at approximately 6am!
Deidrea, Krinz and I were sitting under Deidrea’s block after a long night, just talking for a bit before heading home. While listening to what Deidrea was saying, I erratically looked up the then still dark sky and saw a meteoroid!!!
Wait, eh shooting star and meteoroid, is the same thing, hor?
Anyhow, I made a wish and hope it comes true… Not gonna tell you people what I wished for or it wouldn’t come true anymore lor! Ha!

Guess what?!
The concert was fucking awesome!!! It has definitely lived up to the matching name of the world tour “The Best Damn Tour”!
And it better be awesome lor, I paid 168 bucks for it leh! $168 to see Avril Lavigne perform live! Unquestionably, worth it! (or at least to me lah)
Well, I’ve been so fanatically in love with Avril for sometime now… And I think you should be able to tell by the amount of Avril Lavigne related sites link to my blog on the right hand side, right?
I missed her previous concerts here in Singapore and thus told all my friends I have to attend this one no matter what and I am so glad that I did!
Just in case you’re wondering, I’ve decided to tell you the reasons why I like her so much.
Firstly, her songs are inspirational…
Ok fine, maybe not all of them lah… Girlfriend is definitely not inspirational(unless you are one of those hardcore boyfriend stealing girls),but there are a couple of good examples in the current album, as well as tons of them in the previous two albums.
She is different. Erm, don’t know why, just different lah!
She’s hot, pretty, and can sing well. To those who say Avril couldn’t sing well live, THAT IS SO UNTRUE!!!
I swear she sound wonderful live! I heard from a friend who attended the recent and previous concert, that, her singing has improved dramatically… Oh well, maybe she used to sing pretty bad live but not anymore hor!
She NEVER lip syncs… See, not perfect voice yet doesn’t lip sync, how unpretentious…
She is really talented, and like her songs, she is inspirational! Ok, this one might be a little tacky I know…
Alright enough of reasons to why I like Avril. I think my reasons are a bit, erm, cheesy… but heck!! You don’t tell me who or what to like or hate!
Now, I shall begin about the concert!
Er-hem! So, on Sunday evening, I meet up with Gloria and Krinz for the very exciting event. Honestly, we didn’t felt much excitement till we reached the Indoor Stadium.

We bought the tickets 3 days after we get the news of Avril Lavigne coming to perform in Singapore, how kiasu right!
But when it comes to certain things like this, being kiasu is a must! Ha!
The first place we headed to was the merchandise store where I got myself a flag with her skull logo on it. It cost me $15… wanted to get a T-shirt instead but it was $40… $40 for a printed T-shirt leh… Sigh.
As you can see the things there are not at all cheap lor. I was so disappointed and surprised at the same time that there were no posters for sale. Very strange right?!
I was expecting like posters, calendars, or maybe caps… There was none of those.

All the seats you see in the above picture will cost you $168, except for the ones nearest to my camera screen.
We initially wanted to get the ones right in front, but first few rows all taken leh… And then we thought if we were to still take the front ones, our view surely get block by the standing fans one lor. Mind you, I’m not very tall…

The show began with a dance routine by a local dance group that won the Avril Lavigne Concert Opening Act Contest held by 987fm.
The winners get to meet and greet Avril, get free merchandise, get free tickets as well as getting the chance to open Avril Lavigne’s show! Oh my God I also want lor!!!

When I found out about the awesome contest, I actually sent 987fm an registration with a video of our Girlfriend Dance attached to it, and they replied!
Got proof! Ha! (Omg just realised they reply on my birthday!)
We managed to get into the auditions, which we failed to turn up lah… Oh well…
Anyhow, after about one hour and 15 minutes of opening acts and exciting waiting, the core show finally commenced!

I found 8 of them but kindly gave 2 away. While finding for those, we found other stuffs like badges(that cost 4 for $10!!), some money($2 only lah), and Krinz found a handphone which he honestly returned. How nice…

Very crazy I know!
I’m going to post a crazy but short video of us going insane after the concert in my next entry! Ha!
Last Friday evening I went to Suntec City to meet up with my dad for the IT fair there. Erm, actually I don’t know is it an IT fair lah, but I think it is.
Usually, I would prefer to shun such events due to the insane amount of pushy people as well as all the time you will spend queuing. Besides, I do not usually have much interest in computers and the similar.
However!!! My dad wanted to buy me a new phone and I will have to be there mah… I’ve got to show appreciation. Haha!
Plus! I don’t want him to buy me a phone that I don’t like, so I better be there just to make sure nothing goes wrong.

On Sunday afternoon while I was walking pass that stretch of shops that link Tampines MRT station to the interchange, some familiar guy approached me for some charity reasons that he claims.
It turns out that this familiar guy used to attend the same school as I, I doubt he still remember who I am though.
Clad in a Ahbeng stereotype style, (super wild hideously tinted hair, fancy coloured extremely tight skinnies, coloured contact lenses and piercing on the lips) completed with a cigarette firmly attached by the back of his ear, he was telling me something about him being from some charitable organization.
He was trying to convince me to buy some coupon or voucher from him and later on the money would go to charity or something…
Like seriously, if he were to tell me honestly that he is just trying to make some money, I MIGHT have helped out.
Oh wait, actually I won’t lah. Ok, confirm won't.
But, I think it’s stupid right! Want to act charitable also wear more appropriate what!!!
I immediately told him I was rushing(I never lie hor I really was, not rushing also won't buy!) and left. He never even say thank you lor.
What? He should what! Service with a smile! How much can they even earn doing such boring outdoor jobs man?!

I’m tremendously exhausted…
I went clubbing for 3 days, in a row(Friday to Sunday)! Fucking crazy I know.
Krinz and I reach back at Tampines at around 5 plus on Monday morning after a long night of dancing, we then went to have breakfast before going home, get showered, and meet up again for tanning!!!
Super madly tired like hell lor!
Anyhow I am now slightly tanned with a yellowish brown tone, which I hate completely. Why is it not reddish?! UGHHH… And!!! The tan is not very obvious leh! Only my elder sister sees the difference!
But well, I guess it's a good thing right since I don't really like the tone... Whatever, more tanning for me!
