Grace Wedding.

Finally! I just finished editing the wedding photos. I meant, the photos taken at the wedding dinner.

Took a lot of pictures recently and thus got a lot of pictures to edit and upload!

Anyway, last Saturday I went for my cousin Grace’s, wedding dinner held at an oriental Chinese restaurant at Clarke Quay. Don’t remember or know what the restaurant is called lah… Doesn’t matter anyway, as long as it’s nice.

So, the Wednesday before the wedding dinner I went to search for something to wear and got myself a simple black vest in the end.

I know I know, vest is quite boring right… Everyone is wearing vests these days it’s almost cliché…

However I don’t usually wear vest what, so I thought it was quite appropriate. Besides, I didn’t want to wear anything too formal or matured so vest was like the most suitable.

Conversely, my other worry was that I might look like a waiter at the dinner. Thankfully it didn’t turn out that way lah…

Pictures!

My dear younger sister and me.

Karin looks very pretty right?!

You know why?! Because I, er hem, did both her hair and make up! Very professionally done right?! Mwahahahaha…

Here, let you see a closer view of her…

I didn’t shape her brows though. Her brows were rather terribly shaped by my elder brother I think…

It’s so round lor!!! Eyebrows where can so round one! My brother told me it was not entirely his fault cause Karin requested for “happy eyebrows”… My God... Thankfully I helped her drew it back to look more normal.

On an random note, is it just me or does my sister look a bit like Cecilia Cheung huh?!

My dear parents, all gleamed up for the dinner as well.

My cousins and I, together with the four bridesmaids in the middle.

It’s so strange that all of us are so grown up now!

I used to hang out at the playgrounds with these people when I was like, 9 or 11? We were really close back then.

We used to play silly and childish games and catches all kinds of insects with our bare hands(I don’t know why I used to be so brave). We even had like our very own little drama club each weekend after dinner.

Suern, Huichun (third from and right respectively) and I used to sneak out to the huge canal behind my grandparents’ place and we had like inside code names and even secret “passage ways” to these places.

We would always take this long yet tranquil walk along the canal while quietly observing beautiful white egrets, kingfishers and mudskippers.

At the end of the walk we would reach a golf course that we foolishly named New Zealand because we imagined sheeps on the lush pasture. Yeah, stupid, I know. Haha.

All of a sudden, everyone is either busy with school or work, Huichun is even a flight stewardess now! Damn cool lah…

Enough reminiscing and back to pictures.

Suern and me!

The restaurant had this oriental theme for the dinner that looked almost semi-gothic.

Very cool lor, there was like lots of maroon colour and rose petals everywhere. It was relatively unlike the usual white wedding.

The window view very nice also.

Karin, Suern and my brother.

Though my brother and Suern are only God-silbings, they look like real siblings lor! Don’t you think? They both have nice profound jaw lines.

Karin and me.

I know you’ve been waiting for the picture of the newly weds right… Ok here they are, finally.

Congratulations Grace! (:

Super lots of smoke from the dry ice.

Aww… sweet!

I think the next to get married is my brother! So exciting lor! Weddings are like such, blissful events, not forgetting the superb food also. Hehe…

The whole night I was so eager to take picture with my cousin Grace, the pretty bride, and I finally did at the end of the dinner... Oh well, bride sure very busy one what.

I think she’s in Japan honeymooning right now.

Left to right: Suern, Joy, Ben, Junhong, me, Huichun!

My cousins and I later hang around Clarke Quay awhile before I left to meet my other friends. Totally need to organize like a cousins outing soon!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!

But sadly, Sharon’s face was blurred. So we decided to have a second attempt…

Much better now.

Erm, the pictures feels very post prom night right?! Hahaha.

Talking about prom, I very sad that I never get a chance to attend prom back in secondary school cause I didn’t graduated but left for ITE! It’s not fair lor!!! It’s like a once in a lifetime thing lor… I doubt ITE got prom, hor?

My stupid secondary school should allow those leaving for ITE to go for prom lor!!! Damn it.

More pics!

In Italy.

Kidding, it’s in Clarke Quay but it feels slightly Italy-ish… Yvonne the Italian wannabe will love it wholly.

Enough of wedding.

I’VE GOT MY HALLOWEEN COSTUME ALREADY!!!

Not gonna tell you what it is… Just have to wait and see.

It’s a very retarded costume though… Or in fact it’s hardly a costume, just some accessories actually. Ok, no more hints to what I am going to be.

So exciting cause I’ve never really celebrated, partied or dress up on Halloween! All of us are dressing up!

To end this entry, just want to say a very happy but scary Halloween to all!!! Enjoy your weekends! (:

Birthdays & Babies.

Just woke up not too long ago. Feeling completely revitalized, refreshed and superb! Haven’t got to enjoy such long hours and fantastic sleep for like almost a week now.

Was pretty busy with school, birthdays, cousin’s wedding video as well as a couple of other stuffs…

Well, I shall leave my cousin’s wedding to another entry and talk about the birthdays and babies for now.

The past entire week was filled with people’s birthdays and that is one issue contributing to my busy week! You know, when there are birthdays you need to go look for presents, think of how to surprise them and so on…

Tuesday was Alice’s birthday and following was Ms Sri on Wednesday. Then on Thursday it was Mr Chua’s and finally dear Qia’s on Friday. So many October birthdays lor!

Anyway, on Alice’s birthday our class was assigned to Yishun ITE for some stupid treasure hunt game.

I wasn’t participating lah, supposed to be there cheering for them but end up leaving early to go hunt for Alice’s birthday gift instead.

Birthday girl with one some of her presents.

Qia, Nab and me. Bahri being sneaky behind…

Alice’s Sponge Bob glasses were so cute that everyone wanted to try it.

Me with the glasses plus bulgy eyes.

Nab’s turn.

No bulgy eyes attached here.

Lastly, Yvonne's turn.

Going off the point for awhile…

The canteen food from the Yishun campus’s was awesome!!! Or at least compared to Macpherson’s lah… Sigh, I’m so sick of the food in my school canteen lor…

The stalls in my school canteen are all so boring. Well, except for maybe the fruit stall which I almost never fail to have at least a cup of juice from everyday. Ha!

Er hem, ok back to Alice’s birthday.

While almost three quarters of the class was busy treasure hunting, Nab, Qia and I went in search of a gift for Alice. Yvonne was tagging along after I casually asked her if she would like to join us…

We ended up buying two babies for her. And theses babies are none other than two super duper cute…

HAMSTERS!!!

Since Alice once mentioned that she wanted a pet, we thought hamster was the most appropriate. I wanted to give her a snail initially, seriously.

The hammies are so cute lah!!! It made me so wanting to get one for myself but I can’t cause my two cats at home will shred the poor hammie apart before devouring it heartily.

Erm… the red thing is actually cat’s food.

They look like miniature chinchillas lor(without the bushy tail though)!

I cannot stop emphasizing how cute the hammies are… I used to keep like, around 17-20 hamsters?

Yeah they had this mass breeding activity going on in their immense, luxurious and grand 4 level cage and hence ending up with so many of them.

Most of them were given away while the rest escaped eventually. Hopefully they don't run into cats, or else serve them right for escaping.

Anyhow, the two babies love digging and burrowing themselves in the wood shavings! You’ll see…

After awhile, they’ll pop their tiny heads out of the shavings with their super innocent and black eyes that can melt any humane person’s heart.

Like this!

Throughout the journey and quest to find for the two ultimate hamsters for Alice, Yvonne couldn’t stop stressing on how much knowledge she has towards hamsters and how splendid of a hamster caretaker she is.

She allegedly said that she used to have like, what, 40 hamsters? (Seriously? 40?) Must be due to hamster mass orgy also lah.

She was like telling me what breed of hamsters are the best, what to feed them and what not. What to do if they bite, how to handle them and how not to, as well as heaps of other information… Eh thanks ah, Yvonne.

Please, go look for Yvonne for professional hamster problem consultation.

Oh talking about professionalism, just so you know, all her 40 hamsters died.

The next day, Nab and I meet up earlier to prepare for Alice’s super cute birthday present. We kept them in a glossy maroon gift box complete with ribbons and some holes just in case they suffocate.

Alice was late for school that day, so all of us were very eager as we anticipate her arrival in class with the babies.

Finally, she came into the class and the first thing she gushed was about a new pet hamster she received as a birthday gift from her sister’s friend. Wonderful.

Thankfully, she was still very happy to be given another two hamsters lah. Besides, the hammies we give are much smaller and cuter lor. Ha!

See, told ya she’s happy.

Here are two tremendously cute pictures of a hamster:

CUTE TO THE MAX RIGHT?!?!

Melt… (Please ignore the very dirty keyboard.)

Wait wait, actually there’s one more picture!

HAHAHA!

That picture is super cute and funny lah! The hamster look almost like it’s committing suicide after finding out that he’s gonna have an insane owner lor. Ha! Kidding, kidding…

Ok enough of hamsters.

No birthdays are complete without a cake, so on Thursday we had a cake brought into class and shared among not 1, not 2, but 5 people!

Therefore, as you can see, the cake is exceptionally shiny.

Qia blocked by Alice.

One last picture before I end this entry.

Alice got caked on the face and she’s still so hyper and happy.

Ok, got to go prepare cause I’m so energized to go out today! Plus, tomorrow’s a public holiday and Tuesday no school as well!

Happy Deepavali y’all!

With that, I shall end.

Busy busy!

I am gonna be very busy! Got a lot of things to do yet very little time!

Firstly, there are a lot of people’s birthday this week so have to go and shop for presents! Tomorrow’s Alice birthday, followed by Miss Sri and Qia’s on Friday. Then, Deidrea’s birthday will be approaching in almost a week’s time and I gotta help plan for her birthday!

Together with Deidrea’s birthday is Halloween which is only like the weekend after this!!! Have to go search for places to rent or buy or at least DIY(it rhymes!) the costume!

At the same time, I have to begin on my final character design assignment, which I have more or less 5 weeks to finish.

As much time as it may sound, it is actually not a lot considering that we have to complete 3 character designs(uh, to be exact it’s 3 and a half).

Furthermore, I’ll be going on a school trip to KL during one of the five weeks, leaving me only 4 weeks to finish. Which also means I have roughly a week to wrap up each character, thus I have to start soon!

Lastly, I’m helping my other cousins put together a montage video for my cousin’s wedding that is taking place this Saturday! I have barely started!!! Going to start right after this entry though…

Anyhow, I think I just let out a secret because I don’t think my soon-to-wed cousin knows about the video… But on the other hand, I don’t think she ever reads my blog so I think its ok.

Er-hem, on a related note, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO WEAR FOR THE WEDDING DINNER!

Therefore, I am going to find one of theses days to go shop for clothes after school!

Now that school ends at least 3 every day, very hard to find time lor… But nevermind, very happy to buy new clothes so I shouldn’t be complaining, ha!

Pictures from the weekend!

Trying to act cool but failed lah I know.

Hafiz, DD and me!

For your information, yes I drank a little and hence that red face.

Seriously I cannot drink one lor!!! I barely had a few sips and my face was gushing like a bright red poison apple already! Damn lousy I know… Oh well!

You can’t tell but Krinz’s face was pretty red as well.

One last picture. The reddest one! And the drunkest looking one too!

HAHA!

I look completely hammered in that picture lor! And got a very ti-ko-pek look and smirk right?! I really should never drink!

Anyway! I’ve got a new drawing!

Sexeh.

I realise my recent entries are very similar and dull. I think I shall update a full entry complete with more pictures soon. Maybe after my cousin’s wedding…

Alright, enough. It’s time for the video editing but before I go, there’s something I just wanted to say…

Three days ago, a secondary school classmate of mine passed away.

Though we were not at all close, he was a really nice person. He was polite, kind, sociable, smart, and he was only eighteen years old.

It reminds me how unpredictable, vulnerable and uncertain life is. We should learn to cherish and be grateful.

Rest in peace Raihan.

Grumpy me, post an entry.

I’m in an annoyed mood right now.

School has reopened for barely 2 days now and I’m tired. We received our new timetables yesterday and I completely hate it.

On all the other weekdays besides Tuesday, it states that I have to be in school by 8 AM. This also means that would I have to wake up at 6 AM because I require at least 2 hours altogether for me to prepare and be in school on time.

The previous schedule only requires me to wake up earliest at 7. Hell yeah, one hour makes a huge difference.

That’s not the only unhappiness I uncovered from the new timetable… School ends at six o’clock on two of the days, and at least three on every other day. That includes my favourite Friday…

And when school ends at six, by the time I get to the bus stop to take an hour-long bus ride home, the bus stop would be crammed with tons of hectic people, eager to get their asses up the bus.

I usually love the bus rides before and after school. However, not at those what you call peak-hours. I hate having to wait for the next bus because the present one is simply too crowded. I hate having to stand, and squeezing with the many other people… I want to find myself a good calm spot and enjoy listening to music on the Mp3.

That’s not all I want to rant about…

My body timing has gone completely haywire due to the sudden major sleeping-time adjustments.

During the sweet holidays, I slept as late as 6 AM in the morning and wake up in the mid afternoon. Now, having the need to wake up at six in the morning instead since school has reopened, my body have to get use to the drastic change.

Sigh. Ok. Enough of grumbling. I know why am I so grumpy already. Got to be the lack of sleep plus my brother pissed me off just now. Ughhh…

Now, on a lighter note, I went to watch Eagle Eye with Qia and Nabilah yesterday after the short arranged briefing in school.

I love the film entirely. Love the exaggeration, the thrills, suspense, and I love the story. It was really good!

The cinema at E-Hub(Pasir Ris) is awesome! Only $6 for a movie before 5pm! Erm, only offered to students though… but I think if you pay by NETTS its also $6!

Best part, during the movie if you run out of snacks and decided to go get like, example, a salted popcorn combo(cause I feel like having it now, and yes I love salted popcorn, no sweet for me!), they will send it directly to your theatre seat! How convenient!

Ok lah, maybe you all already know all theses. I didn’t know until yesterday… Oh well.

Anyway! I’m gonna just post some pictures which didn’t make it in my previous entry before going to bed.

I need some sleep badly. I’m completely worn out and I’ve been yawning like a hippo.

Deidrea and Krinz look very couple-ish and cuddlish in all the pictures lor! You’ll see…

See how intimate they are…

Once again.

And this last one also!

Alright, have to abruptly end the entry here because it's time to sleep! Almost 1 AM already!!! Gotta wake up at six o’clock! Only got like, 5 plus hours to sleep?! Damn it!

As you can see...

I have a new header and I’ve added more colours into my originally duller layout! No more black and white and shades of dreary grey… I’m just getting too bored with them.

Everything just looks so much brighter and jovial with the new colours. (:

To add on to my happiness, I met up with my best friends Gloria, Krinz and COEWE the other night.

To meet Coewe is quite a miraculous thing lor, it’s not easy like just one phone call, you got to make appointments. She’s forever working, forever busy and forever late!

We just went to have dinner at East Point, and bought a whole lot of super cheap items from some economical store there before camping ourselves under a void deck.

I bought 3 huge packets of my favourite Mamee Monster snack that are now cleverly hidden around my house because my sneaky siblings would go steal them. Mwahahahaha…

Actually, I am not that selfish lah, I hide 2 packets for myself and 1 packet I hid it at an obvious place so they can find and eat also.

All of us bought only titbits, except for Coewe who was being her usual kiasu and aunty self, she bought tissue, air freshener and lots of wet wipes… Coewe, Coewe…

We had a long chat, revealing a couple of exciting secrets at the same time. It’s so nice to find out things that you don’t know! Ha!

Anyway, here’s some picture Deidrea and I took last night. The pictures are quite couple-esque, as usual…

If you’re wondering, no that’s not a sword in front of me.

There were tons of people looking from the river bay but we managed to disregard their awkward looks and camwhore like professionals. Ha!

Solo.

On a completely unrelated note, I love October!!!

Firstly, I love the name October after watching some horror film with a goth girl named after the month… Secondly, couple of my classmates’ birthdays fall on October, which also means more celebration, fun and cake! At the same time, I couldn’t wait for the last day of October because it’s Halloween! (:

I’ve never celebrate Halloween so this year my friends and I are planning to do something for the night! We’re gonna dress up! I’m thinking of being an angry vampire, or maybe something similar. Any ideas? Oh my, it’s going to be so fun!

Alright, one last thing before I end my entry(yeah I know, it’s a really short and random post).

Here’s Britney Spears that I drew the other day:

Talking about Britney, I just watched her Womanizer video and it is so much better than her last 3 videos! Britney Spears is back!!!

Er-hem… and here’s the digitalised version that you are going to find familiar.

Yes, that’s where my spanking new vibrant blog head is from. (:

Ok, it’s going to rain now so it’s the best weather for me to go try completing my holiday assignments while continue munching on my Mamee!

I’ve got 3 weeks of holidays, and it’s ending this Monday, and I’ve not completed. How irresponsible… Yeah I know.

The lamest riddles ever...

Last night, my brother and I were chatting on msn when he asked me a couple of really tricky riddles.

Yes… Even though we live under one roof we occasionally chat via MSN cause he would usually be using the laptop in the living room while I attach myself to the PC in our room.

Out of the 4 riddles he assigned me I only managed to get one right. Ok fine I guess my IQ isn’t very high… Anyway, I was feeling a little disgruntled and therefore decided to strike back with my very own riddles.

I found a new talent I hold… to create the most childish, random, and silliest riddles ever!

The riddles are completely irrational and don’t make much sense, but heck I’ve compiled them and decided to post them as an entry!

There are exactly 10 of them. Answers at the bottom. If you are bored and have nothing else to do, you may want to make a note of your answers and compare them to the actual answers later on. No cheating!

1) Kenny leaped off a 26 story high building, why didn’t he die?

2) Louis fell of a 20 story high building yet didn’t bleed. Why is this so?

3) Which is bigger in size? Paris or Singapore?

4) An ant was falling of a plant and might cost him its life. A passing earthworm was witnessing the entire situation yet it didn’t save the ant. Why didn’t he?

5) What is the fastest key on your keyboard?

6) You should know that the keyboard is really dirty as it is crammed with germs and bacteria from your typing fingers. However, instead of germs and bacteria, there are actually aliens living in one of the keys, which key is that?

7) What is the drunkest key on the keyboard?

8) What pet does computers keep?

9) Out of the many Pulaus(islands) around, which one of them is the most famous? (Just to name a couple of Pulaus just incase you’re wondering what the hell they are… Pulau Ubin, Pulau Tekong.)

Lastly…

10) There are a pair of poor sisters, Michelle and Mariah. They both decided to work for money and both decided to be baby sitters... One of them was in charge of carrying the baby, while the other was in charge of feeding. Which sister was the one in charge of carrying?

Alright, end of questions. To warn you again they are crazily silly and childish and illogical! I hope you’ve got your answers ready… No cheating huh, cannot edit your answers!

Talking about edit…

If you’re one of Xiaxue’s avid readers, you should have read that entry on how she could do wonders to her old IC/passport photos simply with Adobe Photoshop.

At the end of the entry she posted a little contest where she allows her readers to try and alter one of her pre-edited pictures.

The other day I was reading her blog and I didn’t had much else to do so I decided to try out.

Er-hem, ok… May not be perfect and natural but heck it’s definitely better right?! I tried making Rihanna’s signature bob cut hair but I know I failed completely lah, oh well…

One last thing before I reveal the answers. Here’s a picture of a drawing I did the other day:

Ok, now I can reveal the answers.

1) Because Kenny’s a bird.

2) Because Louis is a Louis Vuitton bag. (Told you it’s lame.)

3) Singapore is bigger than Paris in size. Because Paris Hilton’s just a human after all…

4) The earthworm didn’t have hands. (This one quite rational ok!)

5) My favourite, F1!!!

6) Space.

7) Space as well, because it’s a space BAR.

8) Mouse.

9) Pulau Abdul. I know, it’s spelled Paula Abdul but heck! HAHAHA!

10) Mariah, because Mariah carry. (Mariah Carey)

HAHAHAHAHA! I think I’m the only one who find my own jokes funny. But it is really funny what!!!

I’m so glad it’s Friday! I love Fridays! I’m off to watch my Avril Lavigne Best Damn Tour DVD now! (: Enjoy your weekends, people!
